Parking is available in Eamont Bridge, a short walk from the henge. The pin marks the nearby roadside parking approach; charges and restrictions are unconfirmed.
Mayburgh Henge is a large Neolithic enclosure whose banks were built from pebbles gathered from the nearby river. Now covered with grass and trees, those banks rise to about three metres and surround a single surviving standing stone. Earlier drawings show additional stones inside the enclosure and beside its entrance, hinting at a more elaborate prehistoric arrangement. The enclosed space feels very different from neighbouring King Arthur's Round Table, making the two useful places to compare. Reviewers recommend reading the information board and allowing time to appreciate the earthwork's scale, while noting that nearby motorway traffic is audible. Eden Rivers Trust's Brougham and Eamont Bridge walk links both henges with riverside paths and other historic sites. Park in Eamont Bridge and approach on foot; dogs on leads are welcome only when livestock is absent from the henge.
