Arrival pin: the main visitor car park south of the castle, opposite the site entrance (52.34590, -1.58937), verified against the geotagged car-park photograph and EH visitor access guidance. Follow the signed approach off Castle Road.
Last admission is 30 minutes before closing. Limited castle parking is free for EH members displaying a valid car sticker; non-members must pay. The current non-member tariff was not confirmed, so no amount is estimated.
Town-centre car parks have separate charges. Do not assume the Queen and Castle pub car park or council parking is included in EH membership.

Leicester's Gatehouse has a lift to all floors. The garden has compacted gravel and grass paths; many upper castle rooms need spiral stairs. Level access is available in the kitchen and Great Hall areas.
English Heritage membership covers standard admission. National Trust membership alone does not cover entry. Special events may be charged separately.
