Ludshott Common and Waggoners Wells

Ludshott Common is a large area of heathland near Hindhead, important for rare heathland birds including Dartford warbler and nightjar. Adjacent Waggoners Wells is a chain of three hammer ponds in a wooded valley, created in the 17th century for the iron-smelting industry.
