Pepperbox Hill

Pepperbox Hill is a chalk hilltop southeast of Salisbury, named after the 17th-century Eyre's Folly — an octagonal brick tower whose purpose remains a mystery. The downland grassland is rich in wildflowers, and the hill offers views across the New Forest and Salisbury Plain.
