Stockbridge Down

Stockbridge Down is a chalk downland nature reserve above the Test Valley, rich in wildflowers, butterflies and Bronze Age barrows. The steep slopes escaped modern ploughing and retain species-rich grassland with over 20 species of butterfly recorded.
