Figsbury Ring

Figsbury Ring is a large Iron Age hillfort on a chalk ridge northeast of Salisbury. The circular earthwork encloses 15 acres of species-rich chalk grassland supporting 13 species of orchid, and is an important site for butterflies including the Duke of Burgundy.
