Porthor

Porthor, also known as Whistling Sands, is a beach on the north coast of the Llŷn Peninsula famous for its squeaking sand — caused by the unique shape of its grains. The sheltered bay is backed by grassy headlands and offers stunning views across to Bardsey Island.
