Speke Hall is one of England's finest surviving Tudor timber-framed houses, set in tranquil gardens and woodland on the banks of the Mersey near Liverpool Airport. Built over a century from 1530, the house features priest holes, elaborate plasterwork, and a great hall. The restored Victorian gardens include the Adam and Eve topiaries and a kitchen garden.
