The Beatles' Childhood Homes

The Beatles' Childhood Homes are two houses in Liverpool where John Lennon and Paul McCartney grew up. Mendips, John's childhood home with Aunt Mimi, is a 1930s semi-detached where he wrote early songs. 20 Forthlin Road, Paul's terraced council house, is where many of the earliest Lennon-McCartney songs were composed. Both can only be visited on guided minibus tours from the city centre.
