Whitehaven Coast

The Whitehaven Coast stretches along the western edge of Cumbria, offering dramatic clifftop walks with views across the Irish Sea to the Isle of Man and Scotland. The Trust cares for stretches of this coastline including the restored Haig Colliery mining museum site at Whitehaven. Red sandstone cliffs, shingle beaches and industrial heritage combine along this underrated coastline.
