Ennerdale

Ennerdale is one of the quietest and most unspoilt valleys in the Lake District, with no road running along the lake. The valley is at the heart of the Wild Ennerdale project, which is allowing the landscape to develop naturally with minimal human intervention. Ancient forest, open fell and the remote lake create a true sense of wilderness.
