The tomb can be viewed externally throughout the year, 10am to 4pm; the gated passage lets visitors see the decorated stones inside. The chamber itself is opened only on Cadw's booked guided tours, which ran on selected dates from May to August 2026 and are over for the year (a notice on Cadw's page still advertises them); check Cadw's events for the 2027 season. No admission charge to the site. Cadw may close monuments at short notice in extreme weather.
Terrain level 3, moderate: an exposed headland that may be slippery or muddy, with heights and high winds, reached by the coast path from the car park. Health and safety alert (17 October 2026): coastal erosion means extra care is needed on the lower coastal path around the monument, though the path to the tomb itself is unaffected. Neighbouring farmland may have grazing animals. No toilets or facilities. Drones are not permitted.
Dogs: Dogs on short leads are welcome on the headland around the mound; the chamber is gated to everyone. Not specific to this site; the chamber is gated to everyone.
