Free entry for everyone; no membership card is needed.
Arrive on foot, by bike or by public transport.
Cadw lists no designated parking. Visitors describe a small signposted space at the top of the estate lane by the lodge, where the lane leaves the minor road, and walk about 150 m along the lane to a signposted kissing gate on the left, then about 100 m over a level field to the tombs; nothing is published, so the status is recorded as none. The lane also serves Presaddfed Hall's holiday lets, a shooting school and a campsite, so do not block it. The field corner by the gate is very muddy outside summer, and young cattle or a flock of sheep may be grazing.
Driving pin: Cadw's own what3words point at the field entrance on the estate lane, about 145 m east of the lane's junction with the minor road and 159 m south-west of its marker on the tombs. By road: 1 mile north-east of Bodedern, off the B5109. National Cycle Network route 5 passes 2.5 km away.
Presaddfed Chambered Tomb, Beddrod Siambr Presaddfed, is two of a kind: a pair of Neolithic burial chambers standing just two metres apart in a level field near the southern end of Llyn Llywenan, the largest natural lake on Anglesey, a mile north-east of Bodedern. Despite their closeness their alignment leaves no room for a shared passage, which suggests they were built and used in different phases of the Neolithic, probably under one cairn of which nothing remains. The southern tomb is the better preserved, its monumental capstone, more than 4 metres long, still raised on four uprights; the northern chamber has collapsed, one upright standing with two leaning against it and the capstone on the ground. In the early 1800s an evicted family is said to have sheltered in the tombs. There is no designated parking: visitors use a small space at the top of the estate lane and walk 150 metres to a kissing gate, then 100 metres across a muddy, grazed field.
Open all year during reasonable daylight hours; no admission charge. Cadw may close monuments at short notice in extreme weather.
Terrain level 3, moderate: an estate lane, a kissing gate and a grazed field that is very muddy by the gate outside summer; wear boots. No facilities. Drones are not permitted.
