10 miles (16 km), 11 miles (17 km) with the short detour to the summit of Holyhead Mountain, from the car park at Holyhead Breakwater Park, or starting at Holyhead, The Range or South Stack; a sign to the summit leads off the coast path to the hillfort and the Roman watchtower base beside the trig pillar, then steeply down to North Stack and an abandoned quarry on the edge of the country park; parking at The Range, South Stack and Holyhead, all charged; no public transport; toilets at the RSPB visitor centre and Breakwater Country Park.
