Cronkhill

Cronkhill is a Regency Italianate villa on the Attingham Park estate in Shropshire, designed by John Nash around 1802 and considered the earliest Italianate villa in England. The asymmetric design with its round tower, loggia and overhanging eaves was inspired by the vernacular farmhouses of the Italian countryside. The villa enjoys views across the Severn valley from its elevated position in Attingham's parkland.
