Golden Cap

Golden Cap is the highest point on the south coast of England at 191 metres, named for the distinctive golden-orange sandstone cap rock that crowns its summit. Part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, the cliffs reveal 185 million years of geological history and are rich in fossils. The surrounding estate includes wildflower meadows, ancient woodlands, hidden valleys, and secluded beaches accessible by footpath.
