Pilsdon Pen is an Iron Age hillfort and one of the highest points in Dorset, rising to 277 metres. The exposed summit grassland supports a rich variety of wildflowers and butterflies. From the top, walkers enjoy extensive views over the Marshwood Vale, the Jurassic Coast and into neighbouring Devon and Somerset.
