Trerice is an intimate Elizabethan manor house hidden in a quiet valley near Newquay. Built in 1573 by Sir John Arundell, the house retains its original ornate plasterwork ceilings and a magnificent hall window of 576 panes. The surrounding garden includes an orchard of Cornish apple varieties and a sunny knot garden.
