Westwood Manor

Westwood Manor is a small stone manor house near Bradford-on-Avon with origins in the 15th century, modified and extended over the following 200 years to create a fascinating patchwork of medieval, Tudor and Stuart architecture. The interior contains remarkable late Gothic and Jacobean plasterwork, stained glass and fine examples of 17th-century panelling. The manor was saved from dereliction by Edgar Lister in 1911, who filled it with his collection of keyboard instruments and period furnishings, creating a home that feels authentically lived in across the centuries.
