Clevedon Court is a remarkably well-preserved medieval manor house with origins dating to the early 14th century, one of the few surviving houses of its period. The house incorporates elements from every century since its construction, including a 13th-century tower, 14th-century great hall and an elegant 18th-century hanging staircase. The terraced garden, perched on a hillside with views across the Bristol Channel to Wales, features rare and tender plants sheltered by ancient yew trees.
