Coleton Fishacre is an Arts and Crafts-style house built in the 1920s for Rupert and Lady Dorothy D'Oyly Carte of Gilbert and Sullivan fame. The house overlooks a luxuriant garden that cascades through a valley to the sea at Pudcombe Cove. Rare and tender plants from around the world thrive in the sheltered microclimate, and the coastal paths offer superb walking.
