The Pasture Ground south of the house is closed until Saturday 26 September for HowTheLightGetsIn. The notice heading also flags car-park closure; check current availability before driving.
Admission is free. Advance free booking guarantees entry but is not normally required. House last entry is 16:30 in the current timetable.
Parking is charged for non-members and free for EH members and Blue Badge holders. The current tariff was not confirmed, so no amount is estimated. Vehicles must fit a marked 4.6 m by 2.3 m bay; the car park closes each evening.

The house has step-free entry and a lift between floors. Paths close to the buildings are paved or gravel; woodland tracks have uneven gradients. Indoor and outdoor wheelchairs can be requested.

Dogs at the location: Allowed with restrictions. Dogs are welcome on the estate. Only assistance-dog access is confirmed inside the house, shops and cafes; do not assume pet dogs can enter those buildings. Water bowls are provided outside the cafes.
Dog walks in the grounds: Allowed with restrictions. Free grounds walks are available without membership or admission tickets. Dogs must be on leads except in West Meadow. The Pasture Ground south of the house is closed until 26 September 2026 for a festival; follow diversions.
Dog walks in the surrounding area: Allowed with restrictions. Hampstead Heath is a separately managed public open space where the City of London permits dog walking under effective control. Use marked connections from the Kenwood estate or public Heath entrances and follow exclusion signs around ponds and facilities. No house ticket is needed for Heath walking; Kenwood parking remains separately charged and subject to closure.
Leads: Leads throughout Kenwood except West Meadow. On Hampstead Heath dogs must stay under control, respond to recall and be put on a lead when needed; observe local exclusion signs.
