Wellington Arch

Last admission is normally 30 minutes before closing. Check the date-specific calendar and any notices before travelling.

EH members enter free with their membership card. National Trust membership alone does not cover admission. Advance booking is optional for ordinary visits and can save up to 15%; events may differ.

The lift is currently out of order; approximately 65 spiral steps lead upstairs. Older generic lift information on the access page is superseded by the closure notice. Accessible drop-off is at Apsley House, around five minutes away.

Parking: No visitor parking at the arch. Public transport is recommended. One accessible space at Apsley House must be booked on 020 7499 5676; a nearby commercial car park charges separately.

Dogs at the location: Not allowed. Pet dogs are not allowed inside Wellington Arch. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Dog walks in the grounds: Not confirmed. The arch has no separate visitor grounds offering a dog walk. Its interior dog ban does not determine access to surrounding public paths.

Dog walks in the surrounding area: Allowed with restrictions. Green Park paths can be reached via pedestrian crossings at Hyde Park Corner. Public park access is free and separate from arch admission. Dogs must be under control; leads are required in the Memorial Gardens by Buckingham Palace. Follow exclusion signs and the Royal Parks dog policy. There is no public car park in Green Park.

Leads: Pet dogs are not admitted to the visitor site.

Seasonal dog restrictions: Not confirmed: no separate seasonal dog policy was established. Follow current notices and any temporary exclusions.

Assistance dogs: Assistance dogs are welcome, as stated in the official facilities/access guidance.
