Rainham Hall is an elegant Georgian townhouse built in 1729 for Captain John Harle, a merchant and wharf owner in the Thames-side village of Rainham. The red-brick Queen Anne-style house retains many original features including fine panelling, a carved staircase and period fireplaces. The walled garden has been restored with planting inspired by the 18th-century landscape.
