Overbeck's

Overbeck's is a striking Edwardian house perched above the Salcombe estuary with spectacular views across the South Devon coast. Named after its last owner, the eccentric inventor and scientist Otto Overbeck, the house contains his quirky collection of curiosities. The six-acre garden is one of the most remarkable in the country, where exotic plants from the Mediterranean, South Africa and South America thrive in the mild maritime climate.
